Spalding United Youth FC offers over 200 players the opportunity to play football by providing a safe and secure environment for children and young people to learn skills, develop socially and fall in love with the game.
Our inclusive player pathway offers opportunities for children from the age of 3 up to 18 and beyond.
We have boys, mixed and girls teams at different ages.
We were one of the first Clubs in Lincolnshire to become LBTQ+ Accredited.
Whilst developing as an individual player and as a team is important the main priority for all our teams is that the players have fun and enjoy the game.
In the 2022/23 season we had two teams that won their leagues. Our U13 Blues and U12 Whites both won Division 2 and have now stepped up to Division 1
At Spalding United Youth we take our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of every child and young person who is involved in the club very seriously. We are committed to providing a safe environment for all to enjoy football in and follow the FA's Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedures.
We follow the FA's Responsible Recruitment guidelines for recruiting volunteers. All volunteers hold an enhanced DBS and have completed the FA;s Safeguarding Children course as a minimum.
Rachel Black (07843226806) is the club's trained Welfare Officer (Designated Safeguarding Lead) She is the first point of contact regarding concerns about the welfare of any child or young person in the club. The Club Welfare Officer will liaise directly with the County FA Welfare Officer where necessary and is familiar with the procedures for referring any concerns. She also supports in increasing the awareness of Respect, poor practice and abuse amongst club members and ensures that all volunteers have the necessary checks and training.
Spalding United Youth supports the FA’s Whistle Blowing Policy. Any adult or young person with concerns about an adult in a position of trust with football can ‘whistle blow’ by contacting The FA Safeguarding Team on 0800 169 1863, by writing to The FA Case Manager at The Football Association, Wembley Stadium, PO Box 1966, London SW1P 9EQ, by emailing Safeguarding@TheFA.com or alternatively by going direct to the Police, Children’s Social Care or the NSPCC.

Our players are not just supported to excel in the game but they are also encouraged to develop their personal and social skills through football but also through other activities.
Teams take part in fundraising activities for their own teams and for various different charities. Already this season our U14 Blues have raised £149 by holding a Macmillan Coffee morning at one of their home games.
We also take the opportunity to raise awareness through football. Our teams take part in the Play Safe weekend, Wear Your Rainbow Laces Day to show support for the LGBTQ+ people in the game and support the British Legion on Remembrance Day.
The first Spalding Spring 6s tournament was held in May 2023 and had widely been regarded as a huge success. 40 teams entered the event across 4 age groups, U7, U8, U9 and U11, all fighting for a chance to be crowned champion and take home the newly formed Tulip Cup.
We had BBQ and tuck shop, bar and bouncy castle facilities to make it fun for the whole family and there where certainly lots of happy faces on display across the weekend.
Congratulations to our Champions for the first event:
U7 - Feeder
U8 - Deeping United
U9 - Blackstones
U11 - Holbeach

There are various ways you can support Spalding United Youth FC.
Volunteer
We couldn't do what we do without our dedicated volunteers and we are always looking for more people to help us provide footballing opportunities to children and young people in South Holland.
We have a variety of volunteering roles available in the club both on and off the pitch. If you think that you may be able to offer some of your time to help us please contact info.spaldingutdyouth@outlook.com
Sponsorship
Sponsorship is very important in helping us support our players to have the best footballing opportunities. We do not get any outside funding so everything we provide comes from our amazing sponsors and the family and friends of our players.
We have various sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and people to sponsor teams, equipment our presentation evening, our tournament, different items on our social media ad player incentives. In return we do our best to thank and promote these businesses as much we can. If you would like to support Spalding United Youth FC in anyway please contact info.spaldingutdyouth@outlook.com
